About My Work

I live in the Cotswolds and create my animals in my studio in the garden.  I have Asperger's Syndrome, Dyslexia and Dyspraxia which makes social situations difficult for me.  I find it easier to express myself through my artwork.

I work in earthen ware and stoneware clay as they have a soft, malleable texture.

It's amazing to turn a lump of clay into something created in my imagination and by my hands.

I also go along to a pottery group at Stanton Guildhouse in Gloucestershire, where I can meet up with other local potters and sculpters.

Each animal I make is unique, with its own distinct personality.  They are tactile, friendly and humorous.

I sell my work at local craft fairs, online and by commission.

I also design cards for Christmas. I have a series of 12 designs of African animals printed as notelets and  I have produced some hand made prints of my animals.

Recently, I have started making papier mache animals which can be hung from the ceiling, and I am very excited with the results.
